Meet your Counsellor - Sri from SoulShine Counselling

Within every woman is the strength to heal, the courage to grow, and the wisdom to begin again.

Hello and welcome. I’m Sri, a Level 2 registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and the heart behind SoulShine Counselling Services, offering online counselling for women across Australia.

I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive counselling space where every woman feels truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is grounded in empathy, dignity, and respect, with a strong belief that every woman deserves a space to explore her thoughts and emotions with trust and confidence.

In addition to my professional training, I bring warmth, lived experience, and cultural understanding to my practice. I speak English, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada, which allows me to connect with women from diverse backgrounds in ways that feel natural, respectful, and empowering.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Your story, your pace, and your needs will guide our work together. Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, identity challenges, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I offer person-centred counselling to walk beside you with presence and care.

Seeking support is a courageous act. Just by being here, you’ve taken a powerful step. You deserve compassionate, professional care and a space where your voice truly matters. You are the expert in your own life — together, we’ll explore what helps you feel more grounded, whole, and supported.

At SoulShine, this is more than just a counselling service. It’s a space to feel seen, heard, and gently supported in becoming more of who you already are.

I look forward to meeting you.
